Tasha, I really feel for you, having all these problems at a very young age and unable to get a proper diagnosis.
Most of our doctors and many consultants, as you have said, are not good at diagnosing thyroid by symptoms and use a blood test alone and therefore the patient has to undergo all sorts of unecessary investigations and procedures getting more ill all the time.
I am glad you are now on T3 and wish you every success with this protocol.

Hello Tasha, i'm so glad that I watched this, thankyou for sharing your story. I too have Hashimotos, and I too had a bad case of glandular fever in my teens. All throughout my 20's I had periods of severe ups and downs and I instantly felt better when I moved by the sea in Cornwall for a few years for a sabatical and ate lots of raw foods. I was very depressed at times though and often wondered if it might be a phsyical issue. Turns out that when I had my son age 32 that I was eventually diagnosed with the Hashimotos but not in the Uk, in Germany! My Uncle found it after looking at my hair and skin saying I looked wrong. My story is longer than this but i'll have to do a video for that :). Thanks for the T3 heads up, i'm wondering if there is a way I can find that in the UK because it's only T4 in our regular levothyroxine. Can you please advise me on a sympathetic private Dr. Kind regards and good luck to you on your path to wellness. Kirsty
