I mentioned Al Sandrock, who I really enjoyed and loved to reconnect with. But one person I do want to make sure I talk about is Gabriel Corfas, who came from South America via Israel, who's very talented. Who worked on neuromuscular junctions and intraneuronal synapses. He's now head of otolaryngology science at the University of Michigan and doing very, very well.
Harvard neurobiology was an extraordinary place. It's the neurobiology department that drew me to Harvard, even though I joined pharmacology. I had befriended Steve Kuffler, who was chairman of neurobiology, who used to be in Harvard pharmacology before he split off.
